Abstract: This paper describes a study of the separation of zinc and copper from the leach liquor generated in the treatment of the zinc residue (29.6g/L Zn and 37.4 g/L Cu) by liquid-liquid extraction. In it, the influence of the extraction type and concentration, aqueous phase acidity, contact time and stripping agent concentrated were investigated.
